Overhaul of engines of units and assemblies

Repair of a Mercedes, MAN, DAF, Renault, Scania, Volvo and Iveco truck engine is the most technologically complex type of repair work, which is associated with a significant investment of money and long vehicle downtime due to many technologically complex and time-consuming operations.

Any repair begins, first of all, with diagnostics, which includes:

– determination of the amount of wear and deformation of engine parts;

– measurement of the crankshaft for compliance with permissible dimensions and determination of the repair size of grinding, if necessary;

– checking the geometry of the engine block, cylinder head, cylinder liners;

– control of the cylinder head for the tightness of the cavities of the cooling system;

– checking the condition of the valves, their guides and valve seats, thermal clearances valve-guide, the tightness of the valves closing;

– control of the state of gas distribution elements and CPG;

Repair of the cylinder block is:`

– replacement of removable (wet) sleeves;

– boring and honing of cylinders (non-removable liners) for repair piston;

– alignment of the mating plane of the cylinder block;

– restoration of the bed of the crankshaft, if necessary, and replacement of liners;

Repair (cylinder head) of the cylinder head:

– Restoration of the mating plane of the cylinder head;

– elimination of cracks in the presence of leaks in the cavities of the cooling system;

– replacement of seats, guides and valves, followed by adjustment of the fit using NEWAY milling cutters. The precision fit of the cutters is ideal, and therefore the accuracy of machining the seats is exceptional and lapping of the valves, as a rule, is not required;
